First-hand accounts from the people who drove these cars and supervised the officers in them.

The videos and books on this site are built from documents: test reports, specifications, bulletins and photographs. Documents record what a car did on a test track. They rarely record what it was like to start a shift in one, chase someone in it, or be responsible for the officers driving it. That is what this section is for.

Each account is published in the contributor’s own words and in their own order. Typing slips are corrected, and headings may be added between paragraphs so a long account can be navigated, but nothing inside the text is moved, shortened or rewritten unless the contributor asks for it. The contributor reads the finished page before it goes live, and speaks in a personal capacity, not on behalf of any agency.
